Climate Environmental Testing

Introduction:

Climate environmental testing is a method used to evaluate the durability, reliability, and performance stability of products by simulating various climatic conditions they may encounter throughout their lifecycle. This type of testing primarily focuses on the effects of natural climatic factors such as temperature, humidity, light, rainfall, and salt spray on products. The goal is to ensure that products can operate normally within their designed working environments and maintain long-term stability and reliability under various climatic conditions.

Climate environmental testing demonstrates, to a certain extent, that a product remains intact and functions properly under specific climatic conditions by simulating real climatic conditions or reproducing their effects. The main impacts on products include: thermal aging, softening, melting, sublimation, expansion, embrittlement, reduction in mechanical strength, physical shrinkage, moisture absorption or adsorption, chemical reactions, corrosion, increased conductivity of insulators, leading to product cracking, insulation damage, physical damage, mechanical failure, and increased mechanical stress.
